After leaving agricultural college in 1984, Jeremy set about learning the practical skills that would set him up so well for his chosen career. In the next ten years he ran his own business and became an experienced tree surgeon, hard landscaper, plantsman and civil engineer. By the early 1990’s, he was already consulting to high profile clients such as Jack Nicklaus (Golf Course Designer).
Jeremy is one of the UK’s leading experts in landscaping for the prestige end of the new build housing market. As a result, he has been featured in Country Life Magazine and also written articles for respected publications such as the Daily Telegraph and National Gardening Press.
In 2003 Jeremy was commissioned by the BBC to act as a Design Consultant, his brief was spearheading high profile campaigns for BBC TV and Radio. This commission resulted in a hugely successful 2-year national initiative and the subsequent construction of ten RHS show gardens for the BBC.
Jeremy and the teams that surround him, have been rewarded with a wealth of RHS Gold and Silver Gilt medals at the Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows. He has also acted as a consultant to a number of world leading corporations and respected organisations such as the Kings Fund on their research based ‘Enhancing the Healing Environment Programme’.
